cedar horizontal slatted gate + fence
Be intentional with your material choices! Often, the first parts of a fence to fail are the posts, and it’s very labor and cost-intensive to replace them.
This client wanted a privacy fence that would last for years to come, and wanted something more elevated than the traditional picket fence. For this, we selected heavy square steel posts and Western Red Cedar planks for a modern finish. 10 or 15 years down the road, when the wood from this fence has reached the end of its life, the posts will still be in great shape to support a new cladding.
The client also needed a motorized vehicle gate and two pedestrian gates, and we made it happen! We selected Lift Master RSL12UL for a reliable and safe gate operator, with a solar package to ensure the gate would continue to operate even in the event of a power outage.
